I have mentioned Auto Blog Posting software before: Read it Here Well I am still receiving spam posts from this program.I don’t block them as I am curious as to who is using it.
Plus because they come through as a unique I.P Address the search engines just see them as another comment.After I edit the Url and message of course : ) Every little bit helps when you are trying to save people from getting ripped off.
Well the latest spammer is for www.dubbsmarketing.com which is a spin off of www.daviddubbs.com Actually it was a subdirectory of dubbsmarketing which as I have mentioned before can only be provided or used by the domain names owner.
Anyway to cut a long story short dubbsmarketing is registered to Michael Corcoran who is the co-founder of EDC Gold. That site directs you to David Dubbs site about EDC Gold.If you go to www.edcgold.com guess who you find on the testimonial section. Thats right David Dubbs.
Now Davids site claims he is the top money earner with EDC Gold.If it is true then I guess it helps when the program owners register a domain name on your behalf and then advertise it for you as well.Especially when they use spamming software to do it.
I honestly believe this type of trickery goes even deeper but It was starting to make my head spin when I found just these names linking together.

Phil, I’ve received a thousand+one emails boasting fantastic earnings from EDC, using the Dubbs Marketing System. Unfortunately I can’t spend a lazy $ 1,000 to join it and make $ 60 thousand a month…
But I’m curious about it: do you know of anyone who’s joined and made some money?
By the way, not going off the topic, Ben Glinsky just launched his latest trap, I’m sorry… program: a discount card where you PAY to spend YOUR money!

That’s the interesting thing about edc gold and the dubbs marketing system.Very little about it at all including success stories.There are of course the usual cheerleaders but few complaints that I can find.
I suspect it comes down to human nature.people will happily tell you they got ripped off $15 or $50 but no one likes to mention they paid $1000 for a program that doesn’t work.If anyone else has any info on this i would love to hear it.
Will look into Ben Glinsky and see what I can find.

I joined EDC…and yes it’s a merry go round. Well it’s at least MERRY for the founders.
Anyhow I took a chance but no sales yet. It’s a human zoo…thousands of people trying to sell the same crap over and over to everyone else. The thinking must be that if they have a clever enough ad, some other unsuspecting fool will buy a similar thing from them.
My own fault for jumping in when I should’ve taken the time to research more.
Once you’re in though DUBBS will try to sell you more crap! Leads, autoresponsders and all kinds of so called recommended sites *OF COURSE WITH THEIR REFERRAL LINKS ATTACHED*. Dubbs likes to squeeze as much cash or usefullness out of each SUCKER that signs under him.
EDCgold excellent concept FOR THE OWNERS and for a handful of people who showed up near launch date.
Thank you for your honesty.It is nice to be right about a program but it would be nicer if real people like yourself were not losing money to these sites.All we can do is try and spread the word and hopefully make the internet a more level playing field.

The sites I went to seemed to all say the same thing and ironically have all the same ‘experience’ of being scammed themselves. I admit to being scammed to a number of programs but I will not put my name on the EDC gold list thanks to you guys.

Hello all. I wanted to comment on behalf of EDC Gold. I am a sponsor and mentor in this program. I started about a month ago, and am seeing very nice results. Mind you, I am not claiming to be a top earner. However, I have made a substantial enough income to replace what I was making from working my waitressing job (ranged from $100-$200 a night, sometimes more, so almost $60,000 a year). I am able to work completely from home and give more time to the things that interest me (my web design business is starting to take off as well as my photography, and coming in June I’ll be embarking on my first experience with breeding and showing champion Ibizan hounds). These are things I never had the time or money for before I joined EDC.

Two things concern me.One is that my spam filter blocked your ip address and I had to manually approve your comment.
The other thing is, did you make 20k by sending people to the main edcgold website rather than your own affiliate site.
This combined with the continual use of the term “Our ” leads me to believe that this comment has been posted by one of the program owners.
Now I have nothing against people defending their own program but at least have the guts to state who you are.
It is also worth noting that I only made a post about EDC Gold after I received numerous spam posts about it.Otherwise I wouldn’t have even bothered.

There was an error in my email address by accident. Therefore your spam filter should not go off. I am not one of the owners in EDC. I sent people to the dubbs marketing site, edc gold sites and my own custom site.
I would prefer not to be flamed for sharing my great experience as my time is valuable. I also prefer NOT to PLUG my own website thru this board.
Instead, I would prefer for ALL distributors in EDC to benefit from my testimony as new people continue to find the exceptional opportunity that exists with EDC GOLD.

Lets get some things straight. Yes I am the #1 earner of the company. Yes Mike launched Dubbs marketing site Dec 1st. That site went on to triple edc’s size in 2 months. We have tons of success stories and testimonials that it indeed works. Yes we have lots of five figure monthly earners.
But it takes work and marketing.
Everyone who I ever encounted that didn’t make money with edc it was because they were’nt marketing enough. I always ask for a daily breakdown of what people do daily. The ones who are failing are doing little or under 10% of what I trained them to do.
We never claimed edc was join and get rich. We say join and learn how to market. If you market enough the numbers do work.
I don’t think anyone posting here would take marketing advice from some of these people that say they got scammed or it doesn’t work. No they didn’t work and that’s the problem.
We have live training and I show people exactly what I do. I keep nothing hidden. I’m a the #1 earner because I work my butt off and I’m consistent everyday. Not a day goes bye that I don’t get an email of someone so excited because they made a sale or sales.
I will challange anyone on this board that said they failed with edc to take a hard look at their marketing. Because the facts are EDC is breaking sales records everyday. That means tons of people are getting sales.
The ones who aren’t didn’t market properly and quit way to soon period.

David what you say makes sense.
My concern is that many people are not aware of just how much work is involved in being successful online with any program.Sure there are those who are greedy and /or lazy and want something for nothing.It is the people who are not smart enough or experienced enough to know that online marketing is not easy that i am trying to target.I am wanting to educate people into making informed decisions and giving some balance for anyone doing a search on these types of programs.
As one reader mentioned. It is difficult these days to simply do a search on a program as so many people who claim to be unbiased have a hidden agenda.
I would imagine that you are experienced in marketing and from what you say are passing that experience on to your group.While it may be true in many cases that people gave up or failed to fully implement the strategies you are teaching them, I believe that for many of them it is just to hard.
In the offline world I worked for 23 years repairing BMW’s .Now i could give someone a workshop manual,tools ,instructions and so forth but they will still lack the one thing that made it possible for me to repair the vehicle.
That is 23 years of experience.
The internet is even harder in my opinion as it is always changing.I mean just look at how your CTR can change just by making a small change to the URL or the subject line.
As my readers are aware I do not remove comments unless they are offensive or just plain spam.So I would also welcome posts from those who have been successful. Just as the sales pages focus on all the good points or the mathematical possibilities of making money I like to offer the other side of the coin to people who don’t realise how difficult it can be to market online.
I will also mention again that had it not been for a number of spam posts to my blog about EDC Gold I wouldn’t have even bothered writing about it.
I know that you cannot be responsible for the conduct of every person in your group but if they choose to use dubious practices and false promise’s in their attempts to get sign ups then I will continue to write about it.

Another laughable story from a person that doesn’t want to follow a training system that works. I’ve created over 100 top earners people that and tons of people that earn over 10,000 a month and manby of those start earning that in under 90 days. Which is unheard of in the industry.
What we have hear is a complainer not a doer. Wants to give every excuse why he’ll fail instead of succeed.

Defenders, please listen up, not everyone is stupid! One of the defenders left her website address and guess what? This site www.path2prosperity.biz has been online since June of 2000 and has no ranking with Alexa. Why am I wasteing my time! Call me a cynic but I think if you are making that much money, get your own server with your own e-mail address. Heck, I`m no Mike G. but the dollars don`t add up. I have a lot of friends in marketing and none have joined David Dubbs. Well, I have joined Edc gold a few weeks ago and I think it’s crap. Nobody wants to join…..I have done some of the marketing…..and bought a autorespnder as well as a load of interviewed leeds. Zebie sounds like one of those that sign up sit on there laurels and expect the money to roll in.
I’ve been in EDC for 3 months at first nothing happened then I talked with Dave D. (how many other people that make money will help you much less talk to you). Anyway he asked what I was doing and I told him, WOW I was doing nothing. So I stepped up my work to about 6 hrs a day sometimes longer, quit watching the Tube and startes recieving a few sales. Now I have recouped my funds, have an advertising budget that is not out of pocket, and will be sarting a larger advertising campaign.
So to the few that complain you will not make it in anything because you don’t want it.

Just to clear things up… the dubsmarketing.com site is what they call a capture page for members. Meaning it is not used to get Dave Dubbs his sales but for members to use his copy and get the sales. so going straight to www.dubbsmarketing.com does not let you sign up at all. But popping in say http://eric.dubbsmarketing.com would allow me to sign up someone with his copy.
So as far as spamming, the EDC guys dont send this site out at all, it’s all the users who do that.
That does not mean that dave does not use this page himself… in fact his account is http://topearner.dubbsmarketing.com/
The site is owned by the EDC guys, because they are the ones who set this sytem up for the members to use.
So in effect. Dave does not get any sales from this site unless he promotes his subdomain. He does however make the money off selling the rights to use his domain at $29 a month.
Hope that clears things up. I have done the design for the owners of EDC and their other ventures for 8 years now and I know Mike doesn’t even go after sales himself. He’s way to busy on the system itself and relies on the administration fees alone. David however does so much advertising it’s sick, so maybe he is promoting this site, but in no way is he getting any sale from others who promote it.

I have been introduced to EDC GOLD by my father who is currently a member. He joined the $997 Plan and hasn’nt earned anything yet, but thats because he hasn’t started marketing yet. He wants to gain soak as much information from the traning as possible before he starts marketing. Of course he told me about it and it caught my attention. I don’t have ” Marketing Experience” per say, but I am web savvy. I have two blogger accounts and I use adsense ( not earning anything really) but that’s besides the point. Anyways, I thought about giving this a try but starting at the $297 level because I don’t have a grand that I can just throw down. I also realize that this takes work and marketing, I was never once under the impression that I can sign up and just sit back and collect money. I have found this site to be very informative and like to hear both the negatives and the positves. I will be doing more research and see how my father does before making a decision. Anyways I just wanted to share a message, great site!

I haven’t posted here is a good while, and with good reason. I have been busy developing my business and helping my members. When I first posted, I spoke of the success I was starting to have (at a month in). Here is the follow-up story:
I was able to say goodbye to the working world officially in April, and have been working successfully from home ever since. From the tiny site I had then, I’ve built a thriving site that converts much more easily than any other site I’ve used. I have a growing team who are great people and who understand that they must do the work to reap the rewards. I have since constructed a training community, dedicated to teaching my members step-by-step how to get started, what to focus on and how to succeed (and without spending tons of money to do so).
To a comment that was made earlier about one of my domains (path2prosperity.biz): If we use common sense, we’ll note that I mentioned having been a member for only a month. Experienced SEO’s will tell you that it can sometimes take many months for a brand new site to start ranking in search engines. Lets step off of that site and look at my current one: does it rank in Alexa? No. Do you know why? Not because there is no traffic going to it, but because I haven’t provided Alexa with info about the site. It is up to the owner of the site to do this, therefore you cannot say that no ranking in Alexa means no success or marketing know-how (it is important to learn the in’s and out of search engines, particularly Alexa, to understand how and why things do or don’t show up). When sites don’t show up in Alexa, there’s always a little box at the top that asks if you’re the site owner and if you’d like to submit info on the site. What does that tell you?
I consider my exposure to be great for what I do and spend (I do much, but I spend nothing). If you Google my name, my company’s name (Learn2Earn Marketing) or my website (learn2earnfromhome.net), you will find a ton of info on my, my business, my blogs, my website, my videos and articles, and all of it is relevant. Even if you search the terms “EDC Gold” or “edcgold” you will find posts from my blogs, my videos etc. I’ve never maintained that I’m a guru when it comes to marketing online, but I’m learning a lot as I go (and it shows in the exposure and results).
Bottom line is that you cannot expect to succeed in this or any other opportunity without putting in the proper amount of effort, and without being consistent. I have noticed that when I slack off, I don’t see much income. When I get my but in gear, utilize all of the tools I’ve been given, and take advantage of all of the marketing techniques and methods I know, it’s quite the opposite. I feel that there are right and wrong ways to work this business. When you work it the right way (treating it like a business instead of a hobby, working to brand yourself, being creative and innovative, being honest and upfront with all info given, and maintaining the highest level of customer service you can), you can succeed. When you use replicated sites, depend on your upline/company owners/sales centers to close your sales, and use hype and lies to make your opportunity seem like a good one, you don’t see much success.
I agree 100% with Dave Dubbs. I’d like to see exactly what all of these folks were doing (those who claim the program is a scam or complain because they made no money) to promote the program. I’d like to “Google” each and every one of them to see exactly what I find. I’m willing to bet you it’s very little, if anything. Success in this program is largely dependent on your own efforts. If you put little or nothing in, you cannot expect to get much out!

On the note about the fees you listed back on the 28th of April:
Each of the 3 different prices ($997, $397 or $69.95) refer to the prices of the product packages. There is also a back office admin fee associated with the 2 highest levels ($39.95 a month for the mid level and $49.95 a month for the highest level). These cover expenses to host the digital products until they’re downloaded, and also cover the cost of tools, websites, capture pages and the back office itself (hosting and bandwidth aren’t cheap for such things, you know). They also cover support. There is no admin fee associated with the lowest level because there are much fewer products provided at that level, there is not company tech support provided for that level, and because the $69.95 is a monthly fee paid directly to the sponsor, not the company.
There is a fee of $350 or $250 only if those members at the highest levels wish to eliminate their monthly admin fees (no one would be paying that $350 or $250 in addition to monthly fees).
Next, it is a member’s own choice whether or not to use a merchant account (this is not required, nor are any of the other services recommended in the back office). A member can also use Safepay, which does not have any monthly charges (similar to Paypal and charges a small fee each time a payment is received). There is no out-of-pocket expense for using Safepay. And of course, if members have their own websites (as many do), they may use any other payment processors they wish (many choose to use Google Checkout, which is completely free and no fees for accepting credit/debit cards).
Last, it is Dubbs’ choice to charge for his marketing site (which is $39.95 a month). Some members have reported that it is helpful being able to promote all there product levels of the program from one site, as opposed to having to promote 3 or 4 different affiliate sites (the free ones that come with the program). Again, this is not required. Members choose to purchase this site on a monthly basis of their own accord.
The only fees that are necessary are the purchase of product and the admin fee (either monthly or one-time, but not both). Other than that, any other costs that are incurred by members are completely up to them.

I have to say that this program is crap. Theyre not even selling real products, the average joe will only buy something if they can use it. This program just teaches people how to “try” and resell their “merchandise” to others. I promoted this thing fairly well for a newbie i belive. my first three days of marketing real hard i generated lots of hits and about 50 prospects, i even bought “targeted” leads (damn that was such a waste of money) i hit them up and nothing. no one wants to sign up. Only suckers like me fall for these things. I feel like i wasted time and lots of money. To people makin money with this, good for u. to people looking into this program, i suggest u steer away from all these programs claiming that u’ll make money online. Im convinced that almost all of them are scams. Im still a member of EDC Gold, and i still advertise a lil every day, (what am i gonna do, i cant get no refund, so i might as well try to make my money back and then some) thats all i gotta say. I stumbled onto an EDC Gold seller’s site while looking for something else to do with business. The main thrust of the site was about how you could make loads of money for only a few hours per month. I immediately didn’t believe it and thought there had to be a catch so I’ve been researching ever since. Most of my searches have ended up at EDC resellers sites until today when I got here.
It seems to me that it is possible to make some money with EDC if you can put the work in - quite a bit of work. Fair enough, you work hard and spend a lot of time on it and you are rewarded (hopefully).
I was just concerned that I might be missing out on something where you could do very little work “a few hours a month” and earn loads of money.
It seems you do have to work hard or at least spend a lot of time on it. I’m lazy and very glad that this site has just saved me $997 (about 470 uk pounds)

It’s interesting to see how this discussion has been going. Just wanted to comment on a few of the statements that were made earlier.
To all of those “ex-members” who feel they have been scammed, I’d like to know how much research was done before you decided to join. The reason I’m interested is because there is a fair bit of information regarding the products and training to be found online without having to join. It seems that everyone is gun-hoe to join when money is being discussed, but less than a month later when no sales have been made, the program suddenly becomes a “scam” to these same people, and the products and training begin to take all the heat. I would also like to know how long you gave the program to work before you began with your complaints. Those who understand business know that a successful one isn’t built overnight. It takes time and effort. I’ve been a member for almost a year, and I still work every day to build my business and reputation. It’s a never-ending process, not something you can just do one time and expect huge results.
I also noticed someone admit that they were lazy and therefore did not join the program. It is great for them that they are able to admit this to themselves, which did save them lots of money. While EDC Gold is a fairly easy program to work with and succeed from, it does require constant work. There are no automated earning systems. You don’t just sit back and relax while a website does all the selling for you. You have to work so that customers can even find your site in the first place. You have to work to prove yourself as a helpful and trustworthy sponsor and business owner. Again, these things don’t happen overnight. So let that statement stand out. For those that are lazy, you will not succeed in this or any other opportunity. Laziness in this world is not often rewarded.
I have been a member of EDC Gold for almost a year now, and I’m still just as happy with my decision to join, the training and the products I have access to. My team members also seem to be very happy. I don’t comment in places like this to “recoup my losses.” I’ve already done that several times over. But I do want to set the record straight as far as all of these rumors flying around. At the end of the day, no one can force you to join anything. Those who have joined, made that decision. There is plenty of information on this program to help folks make more informed decisions, but no one can force you to do a proper amount of research either. It comes down to you. Don’t be so blinded by money that you jump into something without considering all aspects and how they will affect your life. And last, never invest more than you have to lose.
A person should only join a program if they can benefit in more ways than just earning money. They should be able to benefit regardless of whether there is an income opportunity attached or not. This is how most folks mess up. Choose a program that you feel you can benefit from, with products that will be helpful to you in your regular life. I’m a small business owner and a web designer, so the majority of EDC Gold’s products are quite helpful to me, and I use many on a daily basis. I would have purchased from EDC even if there was no business opportunity attached, because having all of the products I needed in a suite ended up saving me lots of money on software and tools. Most of my team members are also business owners and professionals who are using EDC to boost their own businesses and careers. If you don’t stand to benefit from EDC Gold in any way other than income, then this may not be the program for you. If you have no interest in, or need for marketing training and tools, then do not be quick to join. This can be a great program, but only for those who are able to see the value in it. So if you don’t see the value from the start, save your money, and then we’ll have less of these types of complaints to worry about.
Oh, and as a side note, I have contacted the FTC in regards to the EDC Gold program. I have also contact my state’s AG. So far, there have been no investigations into the program, and there are none pending. EDC Gold has been on the scene for almost 2 years now. If we are operating illegally, I’m sure the FTC will be more than happy to let us know. In the meantime, they don’t seem all that concerned with EDC. As long as distributors do their job to operate honestly, openly and ethically, there shouldn’t be any issues. I have not had any complaints in the almost year that I’ve been involved, and I know several other sponsors who can say the same. Then again, I’m very selective about who I choose to work with.

I was a member of EDC for a short period of time, and I did make some sales, but I did not feel that I was getting a tremendous amount of support from my sponsor. He was always really busy, although I think he was doing very well. Then I came across a program that was created by a former member of EDC that is called The Wealth Funnel System, and it is a step by step training guide on how to become a succesful internet marketer. Since I have joined and followed his step by step instructions, I am on the path to working from home full time in the next six months I hope. However, I do spend time daily advertising, posting, submitting articles, etc… You have to work an online business to have success, it is not rocket science, however, it does take time and effort. I signed up for EDC and never got a functioning website and was never able to download software. When I called my “sponser” and told him about my problems, his solution was to bring my new subscribers to his site and have them sign up through his merchant account and he would forward the proceeds to me. Needless to say I won the challenge on my credit card. You can challenge and win against the charges.
I’ve been here a few times before, and each time it’s the same thing. Those who have complaints are not complaining about the company itself, but about the lack of support or improper treatment from their sponsors. Most of the negative comments here have to do with someone being upset about their sponsor. If this is the only long-standing complaint, then to me it says that the problem is not with the company, but with individual sponsors.
I have always said that it’s a good idea to do ample research on your potential sponsor BEFORE you join, but for some reason folks still aren’t getting that. I believe that many are blinded by the possibility of riches, and so join in pursuit of those riches. Yet the minute something goes wrong, it all falls on the company - not the sponsor, and not the individual who didn’t take the time to do enough research. I have seen the same rogue sponsors’ names in nearly every complaint, yet there is ample information and even stories just like these all over the place, warning against joining with the very same sponsors. Why does it seem like NO ONE heeds those warnings?
The only thing I can say is that EDC Gold is a good program, and still going strong. The issue with corrupt sponsors is dying down, but there are still rotten apples in every bunch. If you’re interested in joining this or any other business opportunity and you know you’re the kind of person that’s going to rely heavily on others to help you, then do ample research on your potential sponsor BEFORE joining. Dig into forums, search blogs, even call others to ask their opinions if you have to. Allow me to explain how you people are scamming EVERYONE. Do not be surprised that I’m the only one who has it figured out. UNTIL NOW. The world is promised although EDC does state that they do not promise overnight riches or wealth. In the same breath they suggest you can make quite a bit of cash in a month, which in and of itself is a lie.
The program is known as an Australian 2 up. Meaning that your first two sales are passed up to your sponser. In turn those two become part of THAT SPONSERS DOWNLINE and they too have to pass up their first two sale to the SPONSER on in to infinity.
What typically happens after that is the “sponser” sees that EDC is not all it’s cracked up to be so he makes a few sales, gets his money back and drops out of the program. Lets say he only made three sales and then dropped out. IMMEDIATELY the three sales that the sponser made ( And then dropped out) AUTOMATICALLY GO INTO EITHER CRAIG GARCIAS DOWNLINE, DAVID DUBBS DOWNLINE, OR MICHAEL CORCHRANS DOWNLINE. The new joinees are desperate to make their money back so will say ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE of which the three founders benefit from into infinity AFTER THE NEW JOINEES DROP OUT.

I also joined EDC at the $1000 level over a year ago, did everything my sponsor told me to do, voice sollicitations, snail mail followups, buying leads, etc. Then finally paid someone to do an entire ppc campaign for me. After much expense, nothing. I am so tired of spending money with no return; however, still truly enjoy working from home, responding to emails, and making money. Trying the low investment gifting programs now, but, just not getting any interested people. Very hard to compete with the higher ups in this competive field.
Thank you for keeping this information searchable and published. I was scammed by an EDC gold “mentor” with hopes to make extra money for graduate school. Not only did I lose $1000 I also lost hundreds subsequently buying into the advertising programs to push out my own scam. I continued to do research and realized what had happened. I quickly took down the site before I made a single penny (which I would have refunded to anyone that paid me). As a Christian I believe God will pass judgement on people that make a dishonest living through MLM and reverse pyramid schemes. Look at the recent news headlines, “$50 billion dollar Ponzi scheme fraud” “Lawyer selling fake notes losing millions” etc. EDC Gold founders and affiliates had better take note, the fed is not playing games any longer! EVERYONE. This is a lot simpler than you folks are making it. I was approached on this EDC deal and after some due dilligence, I asked my would be sponsor Thad 1 simple question. To be successful in EDC is the main focus signing people up underneath me or actually selling products? Thad replied, “it’s definitely about signing people up AND NOT selling products, that’s the ONLY WAY you’ll make money in this deal! You can make some little money selling the products, but that’s not where we want you to focus!”

Well, here it is a year later, and the sites that Ina Stanley’s name points to are no longer in existence. If that ain’t proof of a scam artist, nothing is.
How nice that you’re still thinking of me, Mike. Actually, I have been busy with my own business since the beginning of 2008, and switched my focus slowly from EDC to what I do now. I am still in marketing, but now I own a business with my fiance. We incorporated officially in Jan. of 2008 and have been going strong every since. We’re looking forward to starting our third year in business thanks to the start that EDC gave me.

I was able to launch our full business thanks to both the start in marketing and the income I was able to earn through EDC. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with that business, the friends I made and helping my team members. So even after a year, I still have nothing but good things to say for EDC.
